Korean (English and Russian preferred)

 

1

For students with migration backgrounds: 

- Co-teaching in general subject classes

- Korean language education (KSL)

- Mentoring for academic subjects for multicultural students

- After-school classes (including during school vacations), etc.

- Support for parent consultations

<Basic Requirements>

Korean national (as defined under the Nationality Act) or a foreign national holding an E-2, F-2, F-4, F-5, or F-6 visa, with a bachelor’s degree or higher

○ Able to teach Korean to students with migration backgrounds using a bilingual approach or in Korean

 

 At least one of the following: 

  • Korean language teacher certificate
  • Elementary or secondary school teaching certificate
  • Degree in a language-related field
  • Language-related certificate

 

<Preferred Qualifications>

○ Bilingual proficiency in Russian or English preferred

○ Korean language teacher certificate: higher certificate levels preferred

○ Elementary or secondary school teaching certificate holders with language-related certificates preferred

○ Experience teaching Korean language classes preferred

3) One copy of the highest academic qualification (Apostille certification required for foreign applicants)

* The employment period, position, rank, and job duties must be clearly stated.

6-2) [Korean Nationals] One copy of the resident registration certificate

7) Application form for a criminal background check for sexual offenses and child abuse (form available at the school)

* Documents 3) through 8) are to be submitted only by applicants who pass the document screening, on the day of the interview. Additional documents required from the successful applicant (e.g., the employment health examination substitute notification) will be announced separately.

* Unless a separate validity period is specified, all submitted documents must have been issued within three months of the date of submission.

 

3. Recruitment Schedule

A. Document Screening and Announcement of Results: Monday, July 6, 2026

* Successful applicants only (approximately three times the number of openings) will be notified individually.

B. Interview: Tuesday, July 7, 2026 (morning)

* The time and venue will be announced with the document screening results.

C. Announcement of Successful Applicants: Tuesday, July 7, 2026, after 4:00 PM

D. Orientation for Successful Applicants: Wednesday, July 8, 2026 (may be held on the first day of work).

 

4. Teaching Hours and Employment Conditions

A. Contract and Class Period: Wednesday, July 8, 2026 – Friday, December 18, 2026

B. Teaching Hours: Up to 14 hours per week (determined at the school’s discretion, but less than 15 hours per week)

C. Hourly Rate: KRW 25,000 per hour

D. Class Days: In accordance with the school’s academic calendar

E. Korean language classes may be offered during the school’s vacation periods. The schedule will be announced later. If Korean language classes are offered during the winter vacation, the contract period will be extended accordingly.

 

5. Selection Process

A. Stage 1 (Document Screening)

○ Applicants’ qualifications will be evaluated based on the documents submitted with the application.

B. Stage 2 (Interview)

○ Interview Evaluation Criteria: Teaching expertise, communication skills, understanding of multicultural education, etc.

Note: At the school’s discretion, a teaching demonstration (approximately 10 minutes) may also be included.

 

6. Important Notes

A. Applicants are responsible for any disadvantages resulting from false statements, errors or omissions in the application form, or failure to submit the required documents.

B. If any information provided in the application form or supporting documents is found to be false, or if an applicant violates the regulations governing the recruitment process, the application may be disqualified or declared invalid, and any offer of employment may be withdrawn.

C. Even if the number of applicants is equal to or fewer than the number of available positions, the position may remain unfilled if no qualified candidate is identified.
