[Korea Education and Research Information Service] Information on New Learning Content in “Korean for Everyone” for Students with Migrant Backgrounds

The Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) has launched new learning content on the “Korean for Everyone” system to support students with migrant backgrounds in their school adjustment and subject learning.

Overview of the New Learning Content

  • Preliminary Korean Course (50 lessons): Learning content that helps students with migrant backgrounds who are new to Korean develop basic Korean language skills and learn essential expressions for school life through real-life situations (primarily for elementary school students, but also available to middle school students as needed).
  • Vocabulary Booster (80 lessons): Learning content that helps students understand the meanings of vocabulary frequently used in Grade 1–2 elementary mathematics classes through illustrations and animations, and learn how it is used in math lessons.

How to Use

  • Access the “Korean for Everyone” system (korean.edunet.net), sign up or log in, and use the content through the [Content] menu.
  • Textbooks and curriculum materials are available in the [Supplementary Teaching Materials] menu.
  • Local governments (including affiliated institutions) may use the system after registering as a “Korean for Everyone” user institution in accordance with the attached document.
