“Dagagam” reflects the idea of bringing guardians from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and schools one step closer by understanding each other’s differences and communicating with one another. This school understanding program is designed to help guardians of students with migration backgrounds understand Korea’s education system and school life so that they can actively participate in the school community.

[School Understanding, Student Guidance, the Role of Guardians, and Support Information] * Separate sessions tailored to elementary and secondary school levels
① Understanding Korean Schools ․ Introduction to Korea's education system, school admission and transfer procedures, school facilities, and evaluation methods ․ Hands-on practice completing actual school forms (absence notification form and application for school-approved experiential learning) ② Educational Support and Compulsory Education ․ Information on major educational support programs, including Korean language classes, Korean language programs, and after-school programs ․ Essential information on the school enrollment preparation grant, basic academic support, school regulations, and more ③ Parenting and School Participation Support ․ Understanding children’s developmental stages and the role of parents ․ Information on parent-teacher consultation weeks, the school visit reservation system, and communication with schools
